Navigation in the figure windows
================================

Mouse control
-------------

*   Span a rectangle with left mouse button pressed: zoom to this rectangle.
*   :kbd:`Ctrl` plus left-click-and-drag: pan the view.
*   :kbd:`Esc`: cancel ongoing mouse operation.
*   Mouse wheel: zoom in and out.

Keyboard shortcuts
------------------

*   :kbd:`1`: reset the view.
*   :kbd:`←`, :kbd:`→`, :kbd:`↑`, :kbd:`↓`: panning.
*   :kbd:`+`, :kbd:`-`: zooming.
